An experienced and bilingual designer, Nancy is collaborative and responsive, with a strong attention to detail. Her specializations lie in branding and designing packaging, displays, and marketing collateral. Her many years of working as an in-house designer in busy studios has resulted in excellent time management skills and the ability to meet tight project deadlines.
From a very young age, Nancy knew that she wanted to be an artist. At the age of 6, she placed a table at the end of her driveway and set up her first art gallery. She sold a drawing of a horse that day and her entrepreneurial spirit was born.
After briefly considering a career in interior design, she was accepted into the Illustration & Design program at Dawson College (Montreal) where she graduated with honours. Her diverse range of work experience has produced a creative and versatile designer and her work ethic and “can-do” attitude make her a pleasure to work with.
A true creative, Nancy includes wood carving, sign painting, stained glass, quilting, oil painting and photography among her artistic pursuits. In 2005, she founded Doodlebug Face Painting and became one of the most popular and successful face painters in Montreal and since then, she has painted thousands of faces at birthday parties, outdoor festivals and corporate events. Give Me a Sign Studio is another of her small business ventures, offering customized Christmas ornaments and hand-painted wooden signs.
Nancy enjoys camping, travelling, photography, gardening and painting. She spends her free time snowshoeing, skiing, hiking or paddling the Pointe-Claire shore line in a sprint kayak.
